Where Abbeville Gathers

Est. 1914

A New Chapter for a Downtown Original.

Built in 1914 and rooted in the history of downtown Abbeville, The Russo is entering a new chapter as an intimate venue for celebrations, connection, and community.

The most affordable room in Vermilion Parish.

The Space

Intimate by Design.

Some gatherings do not need a ballroom. They need a room with warmth, character, and just enough history in the walls to make the evening feel like it matters. The Russo is that room.

It suits the celebrations that happen around a table: showers, dinners, luncheons, meetings, and the small weddings that keep everyone close.

Seats up to 50 guests; up to 100 standing.

The Russo styled for a reception, with white-draped tables, cheesecloth runners, and pampas grass centerpieces against the original 1914 brick wall

Downtown Abbeville

Part of the Fabric of Town.

A downtown building earns its keep by being used, and being loved. As stewards of The Russo, we want it lit up often: for families marking milestones, businesses gathering their people, and neighbors celebrating together.

If you have an occasion in mind, we would like to hear about it.
